Benedikt Rauscher graduated in 2018 from the Technical University of Munich in Energy and Process Engineering (Master of Science). Apart from the general disciplines of mechanical engineering, he specialized in renewable energy concepts, control theory and computational intelligence. He gathered initial experience in the industry as an intern and working student at OSRAM Opto Semiconductors, developing devices for improving the manufacturing process stability and quality of semiconductor wafers. As a research assistant in the system engineering department of the Bavarian Centre of Applied Energy Research, he worked on geographic information systems and programming software for the evaluation of measurements. After his graduation he participated in the development of components for wave power plants as a design and simulation engineer at SINN Power GmbH.
