Dr. Tatjana Kowal-Wolk graduated in law from the University of Heidelberg in 1975. In 1977/78 she did her internship at the United Nations/Office of Legal Affairs in New York working on State Responsibility. She obtained a doctorate (Dr. jur.) in 1982 for research into international and European law at the Max Planck Institute for Comparative Public Law and International Law in Heidelberg.
Dr. Kowal-Wolk was 1984/85 trainee at the New York Patent Law Firm Morgan, Finnegan, Pine, Foley and Lee. She has been associated with Bardehle et al. since 1986 and was a member of the staff of the Max-Planck-Institute for Foreign and International Patent, Copyright and Competitio Law in Munich from 1986 until 2002.
Dr. Kowal-Wolk joined the Frohwitter Intellectual Property Counselors in 1998.
Dr. Kowal-Wolk has broad experience in prosecuting and licensing trademarks and unfair competition matters, in patent litigation and arbitration in Germany and Europe.
