Mathias Himmelsbach obtained a diploma degree in mechanical engineering from the University of Karlsruhe (TH) in 2006, specializing in vehicle engineering. During his studies he gained first-hand experience at an internship with a German automobile manufacturer in Mexico. His diploma thesis at a first tier automobile supplier dealt with a system for measuring the hydraulic pressure in hydraulic valves.
Upon graduation he worked as a development engineer at a German first tier supplier in the field of automotive drive trains, especially dual-clutch transmissions.
Mathias Himmelsbach commenced his career in intellectual property, joining the FROHWITTER Intellectual Property Counselors in 2008. He specializes in the prosecution, litigation and licensing of inventions, trademarks and designs.
