Trainee for Legal Assistant (m/f)
In the course of the training, trainees particularly learn to organize the submittance of complaints, statements on complaints and briefs, as well as to reliably record time limits and dates for hearings. Our paralegals are trained in cooperation with our attorneys-at-law, who particularly deal with patent litigation, but also handle trademark and design cases. The Legal assistant assists in assessment of cost proceedings and supports our lawyers with general office work as well as with the correspondence with clients and colleagues from all over the world. You can also complete your already initiated apprenticeship with us or apply for an internship.
Trainee for National and European Patent Attorney (m/f) in all fields of Engineering
Further to your master degree obtained from a University and at least one year of practical experience, you will have continuously accompanied by one of our senior Patent Attorney a 26-month Training-on-the-job with simultaneous studies of “Law for Patent Attorneys”. Here you will learn to perform state of the art searches, to draft and submit national and international Patent, Trademark and Design applications, to respond to official communications and to prepare oppositions, appeals and nullity actions. This in-house training is followed by a 2-month practise at the German Patent and Trademark Office and a 6-month educational training at the Federal Patent Court. This, simultaneously, qualifies you to sit the European Qualification Examination (EQE) for being admitted as European Patent Attorney before EPO.
